Tammy - My baby is 24 and just moved in with her boyfriend. And my little boy just turned 29 2 weeks ago. Where does the time go? How can I, at 35, have children who are 24 and 29 years old???? :-"

I hear ya, hun! Last week he was the Blue Power Ranger.... now he's Captain Hickey. The little princess who dressed up in a tutu to go to the store with me is now BACKING out of dressing rooms, asking me "do these jeans make my butt look cute?" (Yes, they do, sweetheart. Now, go take them off, put them back, and let's look at sweat pants...)

Can't take your eyes off them for a minute - they grow up when you're not looking!

35? Pfffft.... 33, tops! I know exactly what you're talking about, though...I'm still trying to figure out how a 27 year old like myself could POSSIBLY have an 18 year old... I can't even justify the almost 9 year old! 🤥 But, the numbers don't lie, so the only the only possible explanation is.....

Good genes!😉

My "baby" is going to be 16 in November and my step son is going to be 17 in October. My boys grew up together as friends (my husband was my parent's neighbor for 12 years) when they were little. I'm having a real hard time with the whole girlfriend thing now. Because I've known my step son for so long, I'm just as upset as I am with my biological son.

I know there is nothing I can do to keep them little forever, but this is a time in life that a mommy dreads. There are days where I would like to kick them out of the house because their attitudes stink, but then when I hear them on the phone or they have visits with their girlfriends and I wanna cry.

I caught my step son and his g/f smooching last Saturday evening and I had to walk in another room for a few minutes. My husband was all excited and happy, I had tears in my eyes. I don't think there is anything you can do to prepare yourself for this.
