I'm not bitter. A couple of you seem to think that all people on unemployment (well, not all, but most, or a great deal as is mentioned above after second thought) are lazy and stealing your money. I say you're full of crap.

So, what we can deduce from that is adroomi has been unemployed since the airlines mandated that airline stewardesses start shaving,

He is unlikely to find work any time soon...

You're a smart dude, DMV. But you get all bent out of shape over things you have no control over. Chill with Roger Water's and get the anger out. Remember when you were 16? Life was great then.

Gosh, we're all so surprised that mentally you never matured past the age of 16.

It is a real shocker.

So our office has been quite busy the last couple weeks with people coming in looking for work. Actually, it's the busiest I've seen it in a long time, and we have plenty of positions to fill. Then all of a sudden we don't see as many people coming in. Strange. 🤔 It makes you wonder, "what happened?" Then it hits ya...."oh yeah...they just extended unemployment AGAIN."

Let's hear it for Pelosi's economic stimulus plan. I'm sure all those people who we could've put to work but decided to stay at home and continue collecting unemployment (welfare) will help the economy much better than had they been working and earning a paycheck.

But here's the good news. The unemployment rate is the percentage of the economically active population who are not working but want to work and are actively looking for employment. Keeping that in mind, I'd say the actual unemployment rate, in reality, is considerably lower. It's probably more like 6%...which isn't so bad considering the current economy. 😰
