Again, choice is conscious and active and requires thought as the word implies consideration of more than one option. An unconscious action one has no choice, one just does. So I am saying that there is no such thing as an unconscious choice.

I thought it was hormonal or anxiety/stress and some regular functions are followed or the brain, unconsciously makes a choice as to what to do... surely any psychologist or something like that would know this, and be able to expand on it.

Apparently it is pre-programed in the nervous system through evolution as it is a trait that allowed us to live longer, it's innate in our autonaumic nervous system, the stuff our bodies do unconsciously.

It is odd that we've evolved a trait that allows us to live longer yet also evolved a trait (the gay) that eliminates our ability to reproduce and maintain the survival of the species.

You would also further say that there is nothing subliminal? That you always have to be aware of something and hence, subliminal cannot exsist?

I'm sure there is quite a lot people could and do consider odd. But being gay doesn't eliminate the species ability to reproduce at all, unless all are gay.

Now you are bringing in more and different terminology. Subliminal is completely different, but I would say decision is the same as choice. So no, there is no such thing as an unconscious decision and/or choice, but there are reactions.

Subliminal is a stimuli that may trigger you to do a certain action. But I don't put all that much stock in subliminal targeting that would cause a person to make a choice against their will. I do think that certain stimuli can trigger memories though, like the smell of a perfume, a song, etc.

Stimuli to make you do something... so you're saying people are being made against their will... their choice.. to do things?

Also, subliminal cannot be anything that is not either seen or heard... it's not like playing a record backwards.. it has to actually be there, might be a split second, but your brain, subconscious can pick it up. If that stimulates you into doing an action, to do something.. isn't that unconsciously make a choice?
