By the way, the embattled, and recently resigned head of APS, Beverly Hall was tracked down today by a local TV news station in Maui. Since this scandal took on epic proportions, no one has been able to locate her. When the area's senior TV news anchor surprised her in her hotel lobby, Hall feigned illness & laryngitis. She said she was there to recover her health, and refused comment.

Ok Rain Man,,,

The Desoto ISD ,a largely black Dallas suburb, was more concerned in finding a Black Superintendent rather than the best person for the job, regardless of race.
That is corrupt,,,

And yet somehow George Jefferson and a black stripper should somehow be connected to a Sharpton tv show. Listen, you can try to explain it away any way you want. You can think I'm an idiot, or an idiot savant. I'm letting you know that that kind of sh*t does not present you in a positive light as it relates to MLK's dream.

Seriously. Sit back, think about it and pretend I'm not the one who said it.

Hey, remember that story I posted, can't remember how long ago, where the word n*gger was in the title? Remember how quick people were jumping on me for just posting that story and calling me a racist?

Well, here you are equating random black people with Sharpton, the whole all black people know each other canard, and diversity search = corruption. Now, you may not see that, but it's there.

Tell you what. Print out the thread, show it your African American friends or aquantinces and see what they say. You don't have to report back to the board or anything. I don't care really. Just see if they think that's kosher. Oh sh*t, kosher, a Jewish or Yiddish word. Oy Vey.

Those that can't teach nor be taught, criticize.

I must have written 10.000 words and only that one line offended you? Why do I think this runs deeper?

But to answer your only complaint, what I wrote is a play on words, irony was involved, humor was the intent. Showing those that have been belittling tachers for years with the use of a caustic phrase just how easy and superficial it is to do so. And it was McBryde, not me, that was pissed off by "those who can't, teach". I was supporting him. I'm not a school employee.

I'm thinking the only possible group that could have been insulted (for real, not to be provocative) would be those that can't teach...so even they must admire teachers who can.

Honestly, not sure who I hurt with this.

By the way, the rest of the original insult to teachers goes"...and those who can't teach, teach gym". Brilliant critique, no?

I suppose so. I really have a hard time believing that saying someone is critical when they call teachers inept is just as deeply offensive to the criticizer. And here I was feeling clever for turning out a phrase.

When the subject of teacher morality come up – I cannot help think about these women teachers in the local news who abused 16 to 20 year old boys by having sex with them. My question about that is, where the hell were these women when I was in school?
