WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) - Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner plans to stay in his position at the agency, an agency spokesman said Sunday. "Secretary Geithner has let the President know that he plans to stay on in his position at Treasury. He looks forward to the important work ahead on the challenges facing our great country," said Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs Jenni LeCompte.

Geithner’s response: “No risk of that.”

“No risk?” Barnes asked.
