Rick Perry says that Social Security is a Ponzey scheme. Isn't car, homeowners, life and health insurance a ponzey scheme, too. You pay in today so that if someone needs to file a claim they can collect. If everyone tried to file a claim at once the insurance companies could't pay everyone. Someone has to pay for all those expensive corporate offices and salaries. At least with social security there is not a motivation for profit.
