What some people then to forget is...there's a difference between your "basic human rights", and the rights afforded to you as an American CITIZEN under the US Constitution/Bill of rights.


Granting Amnesty would not help the situation at all.
Look at it this way..........

I make no as claim to knowing exactly how many Illegals are here in the US, much less California.
In a report published February 1, 2011, the PHC estimated that there were about 11.2 million undocumented immigrants living in the U.S. in March 2010.

So for the sake of this discussion/example, let's just say that those 11.2 are working illegally, shall we?

If you gave amnesty to 11.2 million illegals, they automatically become legal/naturalized citizens with the right to LEGALLY work here. You just added 11.2 million people to the workforce, looking for jobs/competing for jobs etc. Jobs that are already scarce. They are not going to work for the wages/benefits/compensation that they took when they were illlegal, They're LEGAL now, they don't have to. they don't have to work for for less that a legal citizen does. So what happens now is you have all those jobs that the formerly illegal 11.2 mil. that are now unfilled. Some jobs that Americans won't do(yes, it's common knowledge that illegals work jobs that Americans won't do. But that's mainly because illlegals drive down wages by working any job for less. Nevertheless it still doesn't give them right to be here.) Who's going to work those jobs held previously by those 11.2 mil. illegals who are now legal??????

The next wave of illegals,that's who. The next 11.2 mil people arriving here just like the ones before.
When will it end? When will it stop, this repeated cycle that some people thinks is the solution?

Now , again this is just an vague example. Just trying to shed some light to the point I'm getting at..........which is Amnesty DOESN"T WORK. The U.S. has given out amnesty before, a few time in different forms/shapes/fashion etc,.
It's a big part of the reason why the illegal immigrant problem is the way it is today. When you give it out, it just creates another wave of illegals to arrive here. And as long as continues, wave after wave will continue to arrive with no end in sight til something is really done about the issue. The U.S. has the most porous borders and relaxed immigration laws than any other country. This needs to stop. Fortify our borders. Enforce all laws, NOT just selective enforcement. And no amnesty, because then those additional new 11.2 million new people to the workforce would be willing to work 'for less' than those currently working their jobs, and then what?

Nothing 'works' in this situation. Only least of the evil choices.

Delete the payroll deduction for employers on employees who do not pass verify.

No work no problem.

Then do something about their abuse of our services.

No wall. That can keep you in just as easy, and FEMA already has camps available.
