My thought: unless the THC level in his blood indicated that T could have been under the influence at the time of the incident, then it should NOT get in to evidence for the Dismissal Hearing and trial, if there is one. Neither should his having been suspended from school for something pot-related. If the amount of THC was insufficient, then neither matter tends to prove or disprove a material fact (relevance). Moreover, its probative value is substantially outweighed by the unfair prejudice (reason for exclusion from evidence). THC in blood may be so offensive to a juror or so misunderstood that the state might not get a fair trial...

He absolutely should have been suspended for something pot-related and THC in blood absolutely should be entered as evidence.

The state should have never bowed to racial pressure to file charges.
