pretty funny, I don't need to lie. It's all perspective, his wife took a pic of him holding the fish, makes yours look like the ones under the big'un in my pic, not really concerned about your belief.
That fish you caught was just nowhere near as big as the 8 pounder in the pic I have, just gonna have to accept it, otherwise, hate on, hehe.
Why anyone would want to try and "pick a fight" on the internet about fish size is comical, fishing is fun, that one you caught probably gave you a better time than that monster. It was no fun jumping around trying to get a net under that big sucker while Dwight's trying to fight him to keep him out from under the boat and out of the bushes, we were only in 4-5 ft of water, and he/fish was running the show. A bass that big is strong, and trust me, although it seems you don't, bwahahahahahahahaha, There are bigger ones than that in the same spot. I've seen larger pulled out of that area, and like I said, if you know the right spots in the spring and summer, you can push up small creeks off the river and catch MONSTERS in the fast water up the smaller creeks that feed in
Come to TN, you can catch much larger fish than the one you caught in many farm ponds, but if you know the right spots, and the conditions get right, you can catch this size regularly on the Lower Tn river, we were in one of those situations, and then you have to know which color they are biting, he's tournament fished plenty of times, even won a few regional night tournaments, he didn't even get that excited about the fish.
