No actually a combination of a statement from the owner of chick fil a along with other variables that we want to ignore as well as the gay homo militants.

Neither side owns the high ground on this but the both claim to.

By the way, I think a little poking around will find sitting office holders capitulating to poor il chick fil a (the winner in this marketing bonanza)

A quick look will find what you are looking for hd. More powerful than mayors yet none of them have any real power to back up their posturing including the two doofus mayors.

By the way it's proper to call them governor but I'm with you on not doing so.

So Romney is not a politician.

Well poke around then or is this just a data point?! I would think the liberal media would be reporting this. I would think they're out hunting for it.

Make no doubt that Chick-Fil-A won huge on this whole thing and the gay-homo militant extremists got punched in the throat. ....but Chick-Fil-A didn't start it.

Just check fox news for a list of the representatives. It'd easy peasy. Then you can progress to the senators etc.

Those are sitting in office but that is not what I said when referencing Huckabe.

I said politicians which sometimes are in office, sometimes are out, sometimes are currently running, sometimes are not.

Romney is a politician. Palin is too. So is Gore etc.

What are you trying to do? Don't we have enough straw men?

So Romney is not a politician.

teedubbya wrote:

Romney is a globalist big businessman who is narcissistic enough that he wants to become an elected official again but you could apply the "politician" label to him by definition because he is seeking public office.

I would not go so far with Huckybee and Palin. If you take the definition to include anyone who is politically active, everyone who posted on this thread becomes a politician.

I am aware of the list. What special treatment have they given to Chick-FIl-A in response to three mayors promising to ban them from their cities?

This didn't just start. That fight has been simmering for a long time. Thus is a flashpoint though. The militant gay homos and chic fil a have been hounding at it for awhile. The question and answer were not random happenstance.

What have the mayors actually done other than shoot their mouths off?

That is the loosest definition of a politician. You and then are also politicians. We are not in office, not running for office, but are peddling a political opinion in public. (And Le HockeyDad is eating mor chikin!)

You actually beleive Romney is not a politician? That says enough for me.

And I've never stated sitting in office is the mark. I stated politicians on both sides are in this game and it's not just one.

Funny thing politics, when everyone agrees its boring and goes away. But when two sides clash its great fun

Well Z, you never answered my question.

If there was a thread (I don't know because I wasn't hanging around here in Feb) it was deleted (not horribly unlikely since I'm sure fuzz would have posted on it), but since there is no longer one we'll have to do a real-time poll.

Z, do you support the JCP boycott by Million Moms?

Don't make me have to go all pseudo-intellectual on you like Victor because of your reading comprehension.

You know HD doesn't believe that. With him it's all smoke and mirrors. He's trying to get you to look a different direction while he diddles you.
