Obviously you missed the sarcasm in my answer.
But, moving onward. I'm neither a Republican or a Democrat. Since registering to vote some 20 years ago, I've been an Independant. Having worked as a contractor on Capital Hil, though only for about 8-9 months, I learned one thing. Neither the Republicans nor the Democrats give a crap about me, my family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, etc... They are simply interested in a obtaining a controlling interest. Then the party in the minority blames the majority for all that has gone wrong so the pendulum swings back their way. Lather, rinse, repeat. All while holding out their hand to be filled by the highest bidder.
Perhaps it's cynical, but it is what it is.
Moving forward, I have little faith in our elected federal officials and the bureaucrats who implement their policies. Truth be told, I think government should play a very limited role in our lives. They should make policy based on the the narrowly defined limits afforded them in the Constitution, and excuse themselves from those areas that which they entered uninvited, but seek to control.
As far as your brain exploding....
