Was the lie about the money..?? I may have had a hard time answering that question... was the money actually in his checking account or was it being held by someone or something else for lawyer and court costs..?? Would he have been able to get this money and run if he chose..?? If it were me and I didn't have access to it I may not have answered correctly... How was the question asked..?? 🤔

Never told his lawyer, which would have been the smartest thing to do. lawyer would have put it in a Trust Account. Only the lawyer would have been able to access it. I am sure that you can find the questions and answers from the hearing and perhaps even video of the hearing if you search the Internet.

IMO, he just seems to me to have been dishonest/a liar at his initial bond hearing by way of either a direct lie or a lie of omission. This seriously affects his credibility. On the other hand what's just a mere $100-300k amongst friends and family?

When Z spotted M did he draw his gun? No.

When Z was exchangeing words with M did he draw his gun? No.

When Z was punched in the nose by M did he draw his gun? No.

When Z was having the back of skull bounced off the sidewalk did he draw his gun? Yes.

So not until he was in mortal danger did draw. I'll be honest, if I have a gun and someone is slamming my head off the sidewalk, you can damn well bet I'll empty the magazine into whoever it is. He waited until he was clearly in danger of lossing his life to use deadly force. Clear cut case of self defense.

Now they want to bring him up on charges of lieing about money. Here's a thought, if they never filed this BS case, there would not any defense fund money to lie about.

Because he lied at his bail hearing. Beacuse the prosecution is dragging its feet and because these things take more time than you can fathom.

SANFORD — In three weeks, Circuit Judge Debra S. Nelson, who's overseeing the George Zimmerman murder case, will inherit a new one: George Zimmerman's defamation suit against NBC Universal Media LLC.

Rarely is a judge asked to preside over a man's murder case and, at the same time, his suit demanding a big payout from a major media company that he accuses of defamation.

Mark O'Mara represents Zimmerman in both cases. In an email exchange Thursday, he wrote that he sees no conflict with Nelson handling both cases and has no current plans to ask her to give the defamation suit to another judge.

Nelson, 59, is taking over the NBC case because she's swapping jobs with another Sanford judge, Marlene Alva, a 13-year court veteran. In January, Nelson will hear civil cases, those involving disputes over money and property — not crimes.

She'll hang onto the Zimmerman second-degree murder case, which she has set for trial in June, but will hand off her other pending criminal cases, including the perjury case against Zimmerman's wife, Shellie Zimmerman.

It will now be handled by Alva, 60.

George Zimmerman is the 29-year-old Neighborhood Watch volunteer charged with second-degree murder in the shooting Trayvon Martin, an unarmed black 17-year-old, in Sanford Feb. 26.

He filed suit against NBC and three of its reporters last week, accusing them of editing a recording of his call to police that night in a way that suggests he's a racist. His suit also alleges that NBC falsely reported that he used a racial epithet during the call.

Two of the three named reporters were fired months ago, and NBC News President Steve Capus apologized, saying the edited audio was a mistake — not a deliberate act.

The media company issued a statement after the suit was filed, saying it did not intend to unfairly portray Zimmerman and will defend itself in court
