"The media" doesn't know it or understand it either. None of us really do. It is complex beyond belief and most people's ability to understand the complexities.
IMO, sad as it may ideally seem, this is simple human nature. there are haves and there are have nots. The haves keep the have nots in check and everything goes fairly smoothly for a long time- with a few bumps in the road.
I do not think there is a single economic system in the world that isn't grossly corrupt. I don't think one will ever exist. Wall Street is the world's banker as well. All the players are in on it and we cannot beat them. Money and time ALWAYS wins.
i try not to worry about it or let it bother me and instead just focus on bettering my economic position. i find it more productive and much less disappointing. I could fight and complain and vote all the different ways others do and i just don't think it will make any real difference.

It's not complex. Centralized banking is a criminal empire. Making money out of nothing, erasing wealth chasing inflation or creating bubbles for an over inflated market aren't hard to understand. When someone or something isn't willing to be compliant or transparent it's because there's a crime going on. Doesn't matter who either.
As for the "media"...They KNOW. They're compliant and getting paid to shut their yaps...create more reality tv for the masses and report deflection! "Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain!"...just tune in for another episode of Jersey Shore and read all about Kim Kardashian's big ass.
The stuff Dadzilla put up is all stellar stuff.
Websites like...
http://www.zerohedge.com http://www.financialsense.com Will give you the information the paid off media conglomerates WON'T!
There won't be any effective change until the whole damn thing crashes down. Watching the filthy rich cling to "theirs" and their powerbase is what should be on tv. Expose them. The Gary Winnick's, Warren Buffet's and Mark Hurd's of the world...grabbing with both hands making their shady quid pro quo deals. Getting away with stuff that the average citizen doesn't even dare dream about doing while crafting legislation to line their pockets with a corrupt political system gets theirs too!
Rinse, Lather...REPEAT.
There won't be any real change until it implodes on the debt it created. Ever been to Vegas and see a guy that's had a real bad run? Wiped out. Thinks he can make it all back or take the loss slighter if only he had more dough. Sells his watch...cufflinks...oh the pawn shops are littered with the stuff...say...more much see tv..tune into "Pawn Stars"! The jokes just write themselves...anyways, back to the gambler...runs his credit cards up to the max, maybe takes out new ones...sells the car, the house the kids so he can go back in there and break the house. He's gonna git his! Only he doesn't. There's a reason why The Strip is littered with massive hotels, shows, buffets and everything under the sun...except the sun. They want it ALL. They want that person to come back in crawling so they can take EVERYTHING and then throw them out the door. Same for Centralized banking. The Federal Reserve is the most criminal of enterprises that I'm really surprised we haven't heard real mobsters running rackets say they wish they'd gone into a life of banking in any sort of testimony! I believe that the system hasn't completely fallen down yet because the filthy rich haven't completely secured an exit strategy where they get to keep everything they have. They have NO problem with you or me getting a haircut. They just like the "stuff".
As for taking care of you and yours...that's ALL you can do. Live as debt free as possible. Don't be a slave to debt. They HATE that. Take care of your family and teach them the same. Let them try to set up the next generation and tell us Camelot.
PS: Even with all of those fine documentaries...written articles like what Rolling Stone had and all of the information we now know about how the bailouts, buyouts and gimmie gimmies were just a massive swindle on the American taxpayer...nobody has gone to jail. No money recovered. Think it's going to change any time soon? The meter is running.
