1. " The "Swampers" were studio musicians who were available if backup was needed. Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones gave them this name during a recording session because of the swampy land around the Shoals area. The "Swampers", also known as the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section were Jimmy Johnson (guitar), Roger Hawkins (drums), David Hood (bass), and Barry Beckett (keyboards).

and here is what i found for #5

Sledge was born in Leighton, Alabama and originally sang in a gospel group whilst working as a hospital orderly. 'When A Man Loves A Woman', recorded in 1965, released in 1966 and produced by Quinn Ivy in Quinvy Studios in Muscle Shoals took Sledge from orderly to one of the shining lights of soul music.

id love to herf it up with you my friend. I bet you have some great stories.

i found some info about the "Valotte" album. It said that most of the material for the album was written while he was at the Valotte Manor for three months. That's why in the beginning of the song it says,"Sitting at the doorstep of the house i cant afford"

I must go to bed now.
