Yes, you can bring the other ultra sounds with you. I can't wait to meet you all. So this is your first one? My oldest is 17 going on 25. She is a handful. Hope everything goes ok with the birth and all and you have support around you and family. Because I was alone in Ok. (Fort Sill)If you need anything let us know.

myash - as far as I know I will need someone in the delivery room depending on when I have Sterling Robert. The girl that is doing lamaze with me does admin work for the navy so depending on when I go into delivery if she'll be able to be there with me, that is if she wants to be, she's willing to do the lamaze, but haven't talked to her about the delivery room yet and my mom has been hedgy on whether she wants to or not.

mrsash -we live in Norfolk - about 10 min or so away from the base - off of chesapeake blvd and near ocean view. I don't drive so my direction giving is really bad lol as I like to say I'm directionally challenged LOL

I framed and hung our son's 2nd ultrasound pic on a wall in our dining room until a few months after he was born.

Did your doctors give you the option of the 3-D/4-D ultrasound? This was used for my last ultrasound, when I was oh... 8 1/2 months along. I was able to see exactly what and who he looked like, in color. His eyes were open through most of the procedure. It was so awesome!

mrs sledn - nothing has been mentioned about any 3d or 4d ultrasounds yet, but I have seen some 3d pics from someone else and they were indeed awesome. I belong to ivillage july expecting club forum and someone had posted one of those and I was amazed, but I was under the impression that they were expensive...

Hi Liz. I really don't recall the amount since the insurance surprising took care of it. Being that ultrasound was my third one done. If you would like, I can check into it for you. Let me know.

When is your due date? I really do not drive much either. My hubsand drives every were. So I really can't tell you were my sister leaves there. My parnets are there every week. They haul for the miltary. They drive and eighteen wheeler. The 3-d and 4-d ultra sounds are really neat. I wish they would of had them around with my kids.

estimated due date is July 4th though I have a pretty strong feeling Sterling Robert is gonna come earlier than that LOL Just a hunch I have....
