There are definitely a lot of Hemingway look alikes down here.....and quite a few female impersonators too. You have the full gambit of crazy here. I don't think I will make it my home for life but 3.5 years will probably be enough. Conch fritters are good but I don't really care for the chowder. It is usually way too chewy!!!

Cigars and seafood are the only reasons to go to key west, I prefer conch fritters to chowder but both are great

There are quite a few bars with musicians in them. Not all good bars and not all good musicians. Went out last Sunday and did our own Duval Crawl. I am definitely not as young as I used to be. It takes a lot longer to recover from a rip roaring night on the town.
