First of all, Dave (grrrrr), please don't take this the wrong way. You are an awesome BOTL and i wouldn't want the following to deprive you of any smokes.
i just want to put this out there, since all this "activity" towards bombing the OP (grrrrr) may put off some of the newer newbs.
it is NOT a requirement. You do it if you feel like. Not bombing grrrrr does not/should not affect your credibility around here.
I know when I bombed him for the 1,000 post, i was genuinely was thankful to Dave for running this thread. I did not bomb him for the 2,000 post and am currently debating whether or not to send him something for this one. That doesn't mean i am not thankful to him anymore. just means that i think i can get him later with something more meaningful.
i hope everyone realizes that it's been less than 2 weeks since the 2,000th post. but i know not everybody is made of money and smokes (I know I'm not). I'm all for sending RAOKs and thank yous (and i've sent out my fair share) but just hope that nobody is "pressured" into doing this.
Remember, this is the n00b PIB.
if you smoke good chit, more power to you. maybe you should try to move up to the non-elitist PIB.
if you don't have as good smokes, this is a great opportunity to try out someone else's everydays.
but then again, grrrrr loves him some n00b rockets, so if compelled, bombs away!
