Jet is correct about the Tea party, don't believe what the so called news says about the Tea party, is democrap party BS. It's all about fiscal responsibility and following the constitution. If you are curious, I don't really like the repugnicans either.

As inviting as it may sound, isn't it a bit late for a tea party? Seriously.
We have our own version of barely distinguishable political spinach vs kale & that should be good enough for us.
But if Ron Paul gets serious, we could have a Whig thrown into the mix.

In this state the republican party pretty much says what they are going to do and they do it. Really have no fight from the Liberals. It's now the tea party vs republicans mixed with independent conservatives.

What exactly is it the tea party or perhaps someone calling them selves the tea party, has/hasn't done that bothers you?

Before you answer, keep in mind I don't like or trust democrats or republicans, IMO, they are pretty much the same thing dressed in different clothing. I have run into other people that were frothing at the mouth haters of the tea party and I have yet to hear a valid reason for such hate. Almost like a reaction to the KKK. Rather puzzling since wanting to follow the Constitution and have a balanced budget always seamed like good tings to me.

^I was wondering the same thing, Gene. As a conservative Libertarian, I feel most elected Republicans are nothing more then Democrats lite. Most of the Tea Party folk I've listened to seem to be Constitutionalists, plain and simple. I know the current administration hates these folks, and belittles them every chance they get. Their propaganda machine (MSM) and liberal entertainers makes fun of them day in and day out. I don't belong to any Tea Party, but the vile hatred from the left tells me they are at least my allies, i.e. the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

I assume you are talking about elected officials. Are these officials actual card carrying members of a Tea Party, or are they typical lying politicians that happened to get Tea Party support, due to their lies? If it's the latter, I'm sure the Tea Party that helped to elect them is not very happy with them either. I'd love to hear some examples of how the Tea Party has done this, instead of broad allegations.

Every group has a few bad apples that are in it for personal gain. Even if some have lied to gain power, just to go back on their word, does not make the entire Tea Party evil.

You hit the nail on the head. The tea party in this state is full of cronies. Yes I understand every party has them. I personally can't stand Nikki Haley who swears she is apart of the Tea Party yet really is not. She says one thing and does the total opposite.

The **** that happens in this state is laughable at times. Kinda like this below...
