because, as we all know, you don't believe that anyone from Iran ever said they want to wipe Israel off of the face of the Earth.
Israel started that rumor and tells the US what to do.

cleverly trying to plant in the readers' minds two major lies, I see.

Imadinnerjacket is not a cleric, and even you, his staunchest policy supporter in the free world, don't believe he represents the results of a free election with "term limits", so why foist that garbage on us.

Man, talk about tourist bureau/marketing propaganda.

But he is out on term limits. It is happening right in front of your eyes and yet you try to deny it and portray me as his staunchest policy supporter!

Are you that distraught about your chances for war diminishing? All those other peoples son & daughters not going to war. Poor you.

never been there, probably wouldn't be allowed into that great friend of ours, I sense you may have been there a few times, so am I correct when I say I believe that the populace of Iran is actually quite different those of than Arab countries'? And not just because of the fact that they are not Arabs.
What I hear (not from Drafter) is that there is a desire for things Western culture values among the citizenry. The majority is being held back from enjoying a lifestyle like ours, like Israel's! They wear Levis for heaven's sake.

Seriously, I know you may have been there on biz, any truth to the above?

I said you may have been there, thought you had spoken of being in that part of the world for business.

Do you know anything about the Iranian general population that most of us would not having never been anywhere near there? Are they more open (not the radical muslims) to our lifestyle, as I have heard? And if true, might it be because they are not Arabs?

This is not a set up, just thought you might know more than most folks. And I'm wondering if they ever mounted an attempt to topple their harsh government, might the results be more favorable to us than what Arab Spring will likely yield?

Many Iranians fall over themselves trying to westernize. When Akmenajihad got re-elected a couple of years ago, there was major rioting in the streets. The uprising was crushed while Obama played golf.

A lot of Iranians died in the 80s fighting Iraq. No wars since. The USA can't say that.

There were 6 (STATE SANCTIONED- similar to our country?) turbaned, Iranian lunatics running for President. One of the least religiously fanatic- the "moderate" Rohani- won and will implement more lenient religious guidelines in order to win favor with the West. Among these, women will be allowed brighter burkha colors and to speak when spoken to in public places PLUS the right hand is permissible for wiping of ass when the left is busy jerking off the guy in the next stall.

well, they may be the only Islamic country with a significant pro-west population. I don't find that, a problem, do you?

If Obama came off the course at the turn and got involved, he'd have been skewered here for that too. No win situation it seems.

In the interest of full disclosure, we armed both Iran and Iraq, much of it in an end run around congress under Prez RR.

Despite a couple of years of reading about the drum beats re Iran, I still am not fully aligned with the school of thought that war with them (or N Korea for that matter) is unavoidable. This election is a tiny step in the right direction. But the ruling council looms large above the winner of this election.

take note, this the first post by the new and improved Frankj1!

=d> In the interest of cbid ecuminism, I will applaud what you said, Francisco.

Two minor points, the Eurasian-islamo Turkey (member of NATO) is pushing for membership in the EU and its people may possibly be more pro-western (with the exception of their hatred for Greece) than the Iranians. AND Reagan was primarily a Saddam (Iraq) man. He understood the importance of keeping one's enemies at each other's throats. The Pavlavi (Iranian) dynasty was militarily aided by his (and Carter's) predecessors.

you'll get no argument on any of the above from New & Improved (must be an oxymoron, no?) simply because it is accurate.
Might I add an historic desire to solve the "Armenian Problem" lurks in their past
