Walmarts bring an unsavory element into a neighborhood. Fatties, trailer trash with trucker hats... people wearing sweatpants outside of the house or gym... that sh$t doesn't belong anywhere I live.

Until I had to start driving out to the middle of nowhere virginia (tysons corner) to date the current gf I hadn't set foot in a mall in years.

If you are 60 miles away from even reaching the suburbs, you should just buy your crap mail order, just like the cigars. This is why I refuse to live outside of a metropolitan area. I can walk a block to buy clothes, I can walk 2 blocks to buy groceries, I have 15 restaurants within a 3 block radius at minimum, and probably 10 bars within a 5 block radius. Why the hell would anyone in a city need a walmart, that sh$ts for suburbanites.

Good to hear, Victor. I was curious because for the first couple of years it reminded me of a beautiful shopping exhibit. The Mazza Gallery & Whiteflint over in Bethesda are not quite as glitzy but not bad either.

Honestly, I'd rather not own a car, and didn't for about a decade in my 20s. I only have one because I have to commute to work, and if I can change to a job I can metro to, I'd lose the car in an instant. They're a pain in the ass... taxi to the bars, get sh#tfaced and crawl home, it's a much better way to enjoy life.

I find wally's inferior in both selection and quality.
