anyone wanting to keep their seed from this year until next, just put the seed in a ealed jar in the freezer, they will last a few years like this, slowly losing a bit more germination/sprout rate, each year.
It starts out as a "white" corn, but is a flint, so could be used like sweet corn when "green", but it tastes like field corn/roast-n-ears/mexican corn.
It actually is better as a corn to grind for meal/flour, and yes quite decorative as well.
