I step over a half a dozen homeless people in the two blocks I have to walk to my car every morning. They smell, are inarticulate, probably carry some disease or another and are generally in my way. A couple seem to have dogs. I feel bad for the dogs. That's about it.
Some day when I have time I'll tell you all about the first night I parked a car on the street here. Useless homeless crack-heads here couldn't even manage to successfully break into it, just managed to damage it. Now I have to pay more a month to park it than some people pay in rent.
