Move along people.
Nothing to see here.
It matters not what the refs did, because the Patriots were the recipients of their error.

The Pats lost to the J.E.T.S. Jets Jets Jets earlier this year in the Meadowlands.
The loss was a direct result of an unusual call in OT.
Seems that a Pats defender pushed another Pats defender towards the kicker during a 53 yard FG attempt.
The kick was no good.
Neither Pats defender came close to blocking the ball.

But the flag was thrown, the Jets got a first down, and went on to win the game.

Many Pats fans were furious, but the refs got it right. It is a rule and they broke it.
It doesn't matter if the foul had no effect on the play.
A real fan understands this regardless of the team involved.

The interference on Monday night probably doesn't stop the INT.
But it is a penalty and should be called. Regardless of when it occurs.
Or who the team is.
