Tonight was Baker's 107, it's mind boggling that this can be served neat

True.......way better than the Booker's IMHO.Have you tried the Old Grand Dad 114 yet?Just as good as the Baker's at half the price......and yes goes down well neat.Speaking of neat.......I've started to drink more of my faves neat while icing down the rough around the edges stuff or going the Old Fashioned route.

Hey Mr Dharbolt, We are not numbering the whiskeys, 1835 Texas Bourbon Whiskey is the name of the whiskey.

let's recap...
My pal had a bunch of Elmers at my house as we finished off Jewish Christmas (movies and Chinese food). I also gave him a LFD DL 452...sent him to heaven.

I had:
Breaking & Entering
General Cheatham's Select Tennessee Whiskey (thank you Numi)
Belle Meade Sour Mash Straight Bourbon (thank you Numi)
with a San Cristobal (thank you Numi)

I had about as good a Numi Christmas as possible...

thank you Mark.

Reminds me more of Bakers......as a matter of fact a Baker's clone almost. It doesn't have those high spicy rye notes that BH has although I do get the rye......it's a little more laid back IN the OGD.All that being said for the coin I'll take the OGD 114 over either any day.The minute you taste this though you will taste the family resemblance.
