Well now you're going to love me Frank.

Old Forrester Birthday Bourbon.........most incredible nose of any bourbon I've tried.Hard to describe but smells like a Christmas cake with a hint of oak.On the palette maple syrup, vanilla, caramel and of all things walnut. The finish is almost all maple syrup with a hint of oak.One of the most balanced bourbons I've tasted for sure.

Find it,buy it,enjoy the hell out of it.

Rebellion not bad but not a favorite for me. I have a couple others I would rather buy first in that price range.

Ha-ha! Made me go listen to it.

"Paint it Black. Paint it Black. Paint it Black you devil."

I didn't hear the "s."

Then again, I'm old 🌫 and don't have the best computer speakers in the world (..or the best hearing anymore...). 😣

Prichard's Double Barrel.....when I first opened this bottle bout a month ago it was way too oaky on the palette.Went back to it tonite and it has balanced out....strange.I really enjoyed it.....peaches on the nose, cinnamon, vanilla, citrus and oak on the palette. The finish is more of a thick almost creamy butterscotch.Amazing turnaround....SMH.I'm going to have a couple fingers tomorrow nite and see if anything changes.

Out of the good stuff and didn't feel like an hour round trip to the "good" store.

Forgot about that little flask I got from a buddy up north.
