rrumba landed the other day..thankyou some really nice smokes most I have not had so I am looking forward to them will list but got overwhelmed with my day at The Great Smoke. The Jerky was a damn nice touch.

That's what I did, unless I'm not a "person"?

I think accusing someone of "mooching" on a noob *TRADE* thread is pretty bad form, dharbolt, and not very welcoming. I *THOUGHT* I followed the rule, and I'm accused of mooching? Seriously. I also read the way others asked and don't see much difference in what I wrote. I don't get it....

Weapon x sent smokes and asked who wants to send me (weapon) smokes. You can say I'll send you smokes and then send smokes so that you may ask the question. This is not a pay it forward
it is a pay it back (pib) since you and many of us are new here you must show some good faith before someone wants to send you smokes.

If you think I am not welcoming, read a little, You will see the opposite is true. An intro goes a long way, as does research.

hey c. ortiz,

these guys are very generous with strangers, you just have to do it right. the idea is not to mooch smokes, the idea is to show interest in becoming a part of the community. being a rank noob is fine, and in fact that's what this is for. it's also understandable to not figure out exactly how it works at first. but, once you do, put your tail between your legs and follow the rules.

which means YOU send smokes first.

Haha, I remember when I decided to dive in and couldn't figure out what I was supposed to do. And I'm living proof of the generosity around here (or at least my 2 humis are...)
