Some freakin azzhole stole my cigar again from outside the local pub!!! 6th time it's happen. Have to resort to putting them out and placing in a metal tube to take back inside. Not allow to take ashed cigar or cigarette inside as it may "appear" people are smoking inside. Outrage over loosing a Juan Lopez #2 with a good inch of ash going! It was smokin great!

Grew up a few blocks away. Love a good DM rant!

-buy a real cheap cigar.

-smoke it a third of the way down.

-briefly stick the cigar in your ass ( the unlit end)

-place the cigar outside.

-walk out later to see it gone.

-laugh the rest of the day away.

Well, there's three possibilities the way I see it:

1) It's the same douche doing it.

2) It's someone who doesn't like the "smell" of your cigar, and is simply tossing it out somewhere.

3) You're really hammered, and forget where you left it.......... or you actually finished it, but thought you didn't............. or thought you laid somewhere safe, but actually dropped it and stepped on it as you stumbled back into the bar.

I vote number 3........

On a much smaller level, I got hosed when I had a store credit for a place that went out of business about two weeks after I got it. It was probably ten years ago and I'm still irritated.

Had a similar experience back in the 80's. There was a Fitness Center in the mall near my house. It was around the end of November and they were offering a two year renewal at 40% off, as a Christmas gift. Like a chump, I went in for the two year renewal. A few weeks later, I went there for a workout, and the place was closed. A sign said they were out of business, but we could use another fitness center. It would honor our membership but was 10 miles away.

WTF??? They must've known they were shutting down, even as they took our money for re-upping.

How much $$$ did ya lose (a box of cigar's worth?)? And why is 10 miles too far to travel for exercise? Some folks jog that much every day, ya lazy bastid.

I am tired of this never ending winter. Our average temperature should be in the mid 30's. Guess what. Our high this week will be in the teens. Our low will be negative. We already have 20" of snow over average. My driveway is about 1/4 mile and is solid ice. I can go on but I think you get the point.

WTF... I think there is only 1 barbed wire fence between here and the North pole. Heck why not move to Alaska? Oh wait this year I could freeze in Atlanta to. Maybe by May I'll see the 30's here.

Now if I really wanted a long rant I could start on the way people drive here. Why just the other day some moron in front of me...

Exact same thing happened to me at the local Powerhouse gym. Place 1.5 miles away sold me a lifetime membership for me, my wife, and my son. It was $500 up front and $20 monthly for all 3 of us in perpetuity.

Effers closed. When I called Powerhouse to request a refund, they told me of the other Powerhouse 10 miles away I was 'obligated' to use because it was within 15 miles. So I went to that one... until THEY closed and were bought out.

Luckily for me I still had the contract and the new gym has honored it for years now. They improved the heck out of the place, too. Much nicer now. Still gotta drive 10 miles to the gym, but whataya gonna do?

I'm going to try for + for sure, need to if only for my sanity.

Funny thing, this new guy worked with a few of us, amazed at what we have accomplished, he asked a lot of questions too, we told him what challenges are and tools we need. Two weeks later.....[ram27bat]
