You are a acting like a french bull****er unless you can back your claim. (mind you if you are going to act french- you probably dont want to back anything)

Show me where/how Patton never said that about the French. Thats all you have to do.

"I'd rather have a German division in front of me, than a French one behind."

Misattributed by former Defense Secretary James Schlesinger on Fox News. Patton commanded French troops, the 2nd Armored Division commanded by Philippe Leclerc, integrated in the Third Army, and had rocky but friendly relations with the French general. For instance, on August, 15 1944 Patton wrote in his diary: "Leclerc came in very much excited. He said, among other things, that if he were not allowed to advance on Paris, he would resign. I told him in my best French that he was a baby and said I had left him in the most dangerous place on the front. We parted friends"

Wouldn't have wasted the bandwith on the link, rubber ducky lives for half truths.

I swear...he's wrong twice. It is clear he doesn't know what he's talking about so I walk away and now he's still chimp screaming.

It really is no wonder everyone who deals with him eventually gets dragged into some sort of "timeout".

Yeah I won't comment any further in liew of an account audit.

Actually it us my understanding that Patton particularly disliked Montgomery and generally disliked the Russians.

On a side note. No one knows how many men it takes to defend Paris. Its never been attempted.

Do you bother employing any level of critical thinking?

Are you asking to be spoonfed information or just showing all of us at this site what a total imbecile you're capable of being?

In not only this thread but others you've proven one more than the other.

One thing is clear to me now. The French accept apologys graciously. But are delusional about when apologies are offered.

I dont have to look it up. Had to learn it in school. But you just learned of the fact a week ago.
I love how righteous some can be about a subject you did not know till just last week. And you still dont- because the whole picture is not on that single page you looked at.
Its not even spoken about in this country but a huge deal in Europe.

Here watch this BBC documentary- the picture is MUCH bigger than you think.
