I knew you'd know it! I may be wrong, but wasn't it written by Al Kooper, and was the flute played by Andy Kulberg (sp?)
I hate looking stuff up before giving my brain some exercise.
By the way, I have a Kooper album from when he turned like 65 a couple years back, not bad, and I read he made another for turning 70!! or something like that, maybe 60 and 65. What a long involved musical history in his life, you had me thinking of him when you said Fathers and Sons cuz of his strong relationship with Mike Bloomfield. And Kooper supposedly lives not too far from me in Somerville MA.
