Old blues, when Lightnin' Hopkins, Sonny Terry, Brownie McGhee and Big Joe Williams all jammed together. Serious professionals but all enjoyed playing and trying to one up one another

I think this song describes Conan pretty well:

And at 1:00 Lightnin' Sam Hopkins is shown smoking a cee-gar.

Sometimes I hate to say it but I get suckered into some of my 18 yr old sons music.
Imagine Dragons and Bastille. (I actually took him to his first concert-Imagine Dragons and it was pretty damn good).

Van Morrison - a comp titled "Just a Man 1970 to 2005"

A fine collection that even includes "Natalia," a gem of a song. However, for some odd reason omits "Angeliou" so I added it to my copy.

Right now I'm listening to whirring and buzzing and occasional beeping.

When I get off at midnight and head down to the vets hall, I'l be listening to whatever Pandora Radio plays on my Joe Satriani channel.

loaned a bunch of pre and post Mahavishnu McLaughlin LPs to a friend years ago. he wanted to turn them into CD's and finally returned them Friday night with one cd that had the two albums on it. A lot is heavy but mixed in is some stuff that briefly conjures up images of Weather Report and Chick Corea from the same time frame. Maybe it's the Billy Cobham effect?

Might be a while before listening again, and certainly not suitable for parties!
But alone in the car, I liked it.

Probably will hit deeper into your fabulous Allman Bros cd's today if we really do head to the beach. Supposed to get into the 80's but the water will be freezing. Shrinkage is in the forecast.
