Dutch took the refs out of the game. Geez, the Spaniards aged fast...they were supposed to meet Brazil in the final. This will be a very interesting World Cup.

In news that isn't news, Greece's Offense is still offensive.

When the tv shows their "off sides" marking they don't consider camera angle.

Go England.

I like the young line up.

England just could not overcome the Italian change-up to a defensive based structure in the second half. Plus Gerrard needs to step up his game and Rooney needs to sight-in that AK47 foot of his.

The humidity must have been a serious factor also. All in all they still looked good though.

Missed half the Italy game but saw most of the others. Seems like the officiating settled in a bit unless I missed something.

I think so. Italy v England was a clean game on the ref's part.

Its been a very entertaining world cup so far imo. I heard the announcers say yesterday the goals scored in the first 7 games last world cup compared to this years and it was more then double the amount this year (forget the exact numbers). I have missed just a couple halves of play so far and it has just been exciting to watch. I am not seeing a lot of the play for a tie mentality and most teams are just going for it. Cant wait for the USA game tomorrow!

Ivory Coast is a fun team to watch. I hope they continue to advance.

Will probably miss Ecuador v Swiss. That is the least of the batch today.

Never seen a team just blast free kicks and corner kicks out if bounds without a touch consistently like the Swiss have been doing. They need to fix that.

Looks like they may have fixed that at the half.

Gotta pull for Germany. They have like half of Bayern Munich's team on the roster. (plus success in soccer keeps them disinterested in places like Poland.....or France.)

I just want a win for either team in that Germany Portugal game. I think a tie would be bad for USA chances to advance at all. That's hoping that USA takes care of business this evening against Ghana.
