I slept until the second half of extra time. Sounds like I did well.
Van Gaal took a chance and started DeJong, knowing he couldn't play the whole game. The back-breaker was when Martins Indi got the yellow card defending Messi near half-time. This forced him to use a sub that he may have saved, but he had to avoid the chance of a second yellow and then having to play a man short. Had Martins Indi not gotten the yellow, he could've played the whole game.
The third place game does have some intrigue imo.
For many reasons, I hope Brazil wins.
But if they lose, and God forbid, in blowout fashion.........that could cause problems.
