Was a hard game to watch though with all the flags on both teams. I didn't really give a **** who won it was just hard to watch.

The refs did not decide that game.

teedubbya wrote:

No, Kaepernick's 4 turnovers did, in the end, but 16 flags did not help. And the Gore touchdown that got called back for Boldin holding? Ridiculous. There was no holding on that play.

There is holding on every play but that one was a Ticketek call.

San Francisco has the same record that Dallas had after one game in their new stadium.

Dallas gave up any hope of ever having a home-field advantage when they built that monstrosity.

Yes but it's hard to pass up a good cherry turnover.

I turned it off when SF got a penalty for Inappropriate Language.

The explanation Al Michaels gave was insane. There isn't a set group of words, but the refs will know them when they hear them?

When did the field turn into North Korea?

So saying the F word is the equal of leading with the crown of the helmet.

The nfl sucks.

Although I'm not aware of any sport where unsportsmanlike conduct can't be called for speaking directly to an opponent and using foul language. In the pros it usually isn't called but maybe it should be. The NBA really needs to crack down on that if you've ever been courtside.

I know I got a few of those penalties while I was playing.

So Kirk Cousins has led the Skins to a 21-0 lead. If RGIII gets his job back I'm going to start screaming racism. Cousins is CLEARLY the better QB. He ain't getting the start because he's white.

"The dirty little secret in Ashburn is that Coach Jay Gruden actually thought Kirk Cousins was better suited to his offense, that Robert Griffin III wasn’t getting it and there was no way to delicately make a change at any point this season without causing major problems throughout the organization. So the new coach was resigned to doing everything he could to develop Griffin into a pocket passer, though he really feared Griffin might not be the guy to lead the team over the long term.

For obvious reasons, Gruden can’t say that and won’t publicly admit to those sentiments. And all those reservations notwithstanding, he is still very committed to doing whatever he can to develop Griffin’s pocket presence, accuracy and field leadership."

Plenty of black quarterbacks, and plenty of white quarterbacks around the league. RGIII getting preferential treatment as the starter in Washington, even if he is the less talented QB, is solely based on a different color. GREEN- They can't afford to pay him and not play him, and playing him, like it or not, puts more fans in the seat, cause you never know "what he's gonna do". . .

Those who think Football is a game about winning and losing still, haven't been paying much attention. Its entertainment, and the show will drive the decisions. . .

I would agree, to a point. WINNING puts asses in the seats.

Cousins starts racking up the wins, then people start buying shirts, tickets, etc... soon they forget about Griffin.

People were upset when Brady replaced Bledsoe, until he won the Superbowl. Folks were upset when Rodgers replaced Favre, until he won the Superbowl. Kaepernick replacing Smith pissed some people off, until he took them to the Superbowl.

Steve Young was hated until he finally won the big one. Then folks came around.

Winning makes people forget. Just my $.02
