What about the mail-in ballot? Cast yours, then pull your neighbors (who don''t give a sh*t) out of the trash and cast theirs too. Why let a vote go to waste? If people don't have an interest in voting, I doubt they would bother shredding the ballot before dropping it in the trash.

A simple State ID is all that should be required. You have to provide proof of Citizenship and residency in the State to get the ID anyway. In CO you can register to vote when you acquire/renew your drivers license (sure it the same in other States too). So what's the harm in requiring the same ID's to verify you-are-who-you-say-you-are before casting a vote for the politicians that are running your town, your county, your state, and YOUR country?

ID is required to buy a gun, but no ID is required to vote for our President. Which shot can cause more damage?
