had the white whiskey/bourbon, not a profile I seek but some may love it. Way strong corn liquor taste and smell IIRC.
I like the story though, couple of guys found old equipment in a barn on family farm in Sudbury or some other MA town that their grandfather or great grandfather used to make legal booze. Blah blah blah...

No kidding. I'm hitting up a couple distilleries on Friday and a couple more shpos tonight. I'm hoping to find some HTF stuff before I shell out my arm and leg for one drink.

So far I've found Elmer T Lee, Willett Family Reserve is everywhere here. I'm hoping to find Weller 12, Pappy has to be somewhere, and maybe some other distillery exclusives.

The Dalmore 12
the more I have the more I think it is a good intro to Highland scotch, but not worth a near premium price. there are better and more complex than this for less, that said I like this and it is very drinkable.
