I am floored by this Texas size helping of ultra fine stuff. I find myself thrown in the big league with real pros.

Someone made a mistake - I am entertained and pleased by much less than this. desolbones has hit me hard. How can I keep up? I thought I had a some nice cigars but this one package one-ups my whole humidor......with a neutron bomb! I am trying to click my ruby slippers and say I am, I am a noobie, I really am a noobie.....but I don't know if I can ever go back!

Oliva Family Cigar O...blue label...is this one of the first generation???? Did some research on this one, these came in the toilet lid box, originally shipped w/o cello, Oliva received enough feedback over cigars damaged in transit that decided to use cello, the original cloth bands were thick enough to interfere with the cello so they changed to paper bands for the rest of the original run.

Got a crate of 100 on the recommendation of Pedro/Todd, was told they're Cigar1, when I got down to the last 15 or 20 I moved out of the crate to make space in the humidor, there on the bottom it was stamped 'Miami Cigar Co, Rosado' that's all I know

The DPG JJ and LG Small Batch IV are the only 2 in the bunch I would still call Heavy bodied at this point.

UPDATE...........so the devastating bomb strike by desolbones left the Noob target devastated. However, there was a secret retaliatory weapon in the works - a multiple missile attack of La Segunda's cuban bread to be launched by the Ybor City Navy (an annual tradition of Gasparilla). And then I find out you beat me to it and just ordered a self - inflicted hit before I could strike (FOILED!).

So my last resort is to send you the "Tampa package".......these are a collection of locally made cigars......some better than others.......think of it like your family.......some might be ugly or uninspiring but they are still your family. This is by no means meant to compete with the super premium hit you made on me. But as an old Tampa boy I thought you might like it. If I was going to send top shelf stuff I'd have to send you your cigars back! (I'm not that stupid).

That all being said I think I screwed up big time.........I had a foursome of Fuente anejos (still counts as Tampa in my mind) that were supposed to go in there too and I think I goofed and left them out ARRRGH..........I'll let them sit in my humidor a while and hit you when you least expect it. BAM! Maybe wrapped in Cuban Bread. I'm really pissed that you ordered the Cuban Bread before I did. DRAT.

Thanks for the thought re La Segunda, seeing as my wife, both daughters and my mother all love cuban breadit was a no brainer one size fits all mothers day deal...had I known.My oldest daughter and I finished off a full loaf as garlic toast with a 8 cup pot of strong coffee. I'm supposed be cutting down on caffeine.. so half folgers and half medaglia d'oro italian roast to brew a pot, it is a little milder than I like. I've kinda wandered around Ybor and sampled the the local rolled cigars...not as much as I wish, so what ever ya sent will be appreciated and enjoyed!
But no return was needed or expected, I hope this doesn't put you in a precarious position, who knows what the future holds...?
