Having been a Reaganite, I didn't always agree with your astute observation on the corporations. Now, I do. The Government is "enabling" them with corporate welfare & favorable legislation which they then use for bonuses and camouflaging the bottom line by outsourcing... Check out my thread on "America's HAS BEEN Economy". It's very sad.

The "trickle down" theory which many of us defended has been discredited as just a tool to enrich corporations. It was abandoned by its founder, David Stockton and the brilliant economist, Thomas Sowell among other "conservative" economists.

One more observation on this gaga-googoo love scene:

The SAME day that our beloved leader walked hand in hand with this FAKE ally, Prince Abdullah, one of his religious government clerics was exhorting Saudi men (on tv) to fight and kill Americans in Iraq.

Oh, and the OFFICIAL line from the SAUDI Ministry Department is to "HATE THE INFIDEL" (meaning Americans, Christians, Jews, etc.).
