Thanks for the thought re La Segunda, seeing as my wife, both daughters and my mother all love cuban breadit was a no brainer one size fits all mothers day deal...had I known.My oldest daughter and I finished off a full loaf as garlic toast with a 8 cup pot of strong coffee. I'm supposed be cutting down on caffeine.. so half folgers and half medaglia d'oro italian roast to brew a pot, it is a little milder than I like. I've kinda wandered around Ybor and sampled the the local rolled cigars...not as much as I wish, so what ever ya sent will be appreciated and enjoyed!
But no return was needed or expected, I hope this doesn't put you in a precarious position, who knows what the future holds...?

P.S. the Rodriguez y Menendez factory in west tampa is closed so that one is the last of two I had. It is a nice basic Dominican blend... i don't know if the two years of aging helped or hurt. All the Tampa buckeyes use Olive tobacco.......Angel always had a soft spot for the little guys.

There are also two that were rolled with the antique machines at j c. Newman. Crazy to watch them do that.

I don't know what the machines are called, I always called it a clacker. As a kid around 10-12 I'd watch at a shop that was below grade and had windows at ground level. You could look down into the rolling area and watch 'em being made, If I remember correctly you could buy 2nds out the door for about $0.25.

Package was on the porch when I got home, yes you do a fine job of packing a SFR. Figure the Newman cigars are the Brickhouse and Cuesta Rey. I've had a coupla the Y Macedo before...I think, they were corona sized 1 natural & 1 maduro.
El Reloj, Moya, Rodriguez y Menendez are all new to me, the 2 unbanded may or may not be new to me. And a Flor de Ybor City is the cherry on top of the whipped cream. Been more than a little while since I've had my 'never had' butt handed to me......a most excellent job of it.
I was considering 'road dried armadillo' as a return 'local flavor' sort of thank you..... I need to ask if ya also smoke a pipe, tobacco, not herb. No, wait....Herb did the pipe tobacco, tangent alert. If ya do smoke a pipe and can give me an idea of what ya like....I'd like to send a similar sampler. Mostly, just gotta say.............

El reloj is newman named after the newman clock tower that was the neighborhood signal for cigar workers and businesses. What it lacks in complexity it makes up for in size - BIG 8".

Not into pipes but smoked a cigar shaped like one once.
