Sounds like you may not be the raging Lib I suspected you are. If you were you would have blamed the dog for provoking the Homeless into his action because the pup has four legs and the HL dude only 2 which is obviously unfair.

As someone who is from the N. Cal area I can only say the people are what ruin what could be the most beautiful city in the world. You won't find a big city with better potential to be something special until unfortunately you add in the 90% douche bag humans (if you can call them that) that call that place home and you get what you get.

I thought the kicking league was an amateur sport. The really interesting spin off is wheels league. One legged kickers with canes.

Hehe. The advantage of a city life is that wages scale with cost of living as well. But cost of living is only a percentage of your expenses... Essentially the remaining percentage is usually significantly larger after your rent is taken out. It's a perk. That and being able to grab great tacos across the street, excellent indian food a half a block away, excellent thai food 2.5 blocks away and great pho 3 blocks away. I've got a wide range of bars to drink at all within 4 blocks... anything from dive bars to high-end cocktail bars... anything beyond that is a very short uber ride away.

I used to have a 1000 sq ft condo in Madison many years ago... I had a completely empty room I threw boxes in. It was a waste of space for me. I simply don't collect crap like other people seem to like to. What would I do with one of those 3000 sq foot mc mansions in the burbs? Stare at the empty rooms? It isn't how I want to live my life.

Well I'll hand it to you, you really put a smile face on the small apartment gig.

Any thoughts on living in a van?
Say, down by a river?

No to the house-boat. Too much risk of shark attack.
No to the van too... too much risk of sharknado attack.

Just get some bikers to stop by. They will start shooting before the sharks hit the ground. Of course if they are Ganges sharks you have no worries other than dead bikers.

If they shoot all the Sharks, who's going to keep the Jets in check?
