With all due respect, people who pay for these cigars ought to have their heads examined. Not only are you doing the manufacturer's market research for them, you are paying for the privilege. THEY should be paying YOU.

Manufacturers sell products they are testing out all the time. Dorito Tacos anyone? And they are completely up front about what is going on. Moreover, I enjoy doing it, its my money, my cigars, my choice. I also, at least for now, have found some sticks i really really enjoy for about $2 per. So there.

How about you try to contribute something?

Better Yet.

Go slither away....with all due respect of course

Dorito Tacos (at least at 2am) prove that there is a higher power and that intelligent design is a reality! =p~

Actually the best taco ad/poster I ever saw was at a Jack-in-the-Box. It had photo of their tacos and said "We don't know why they taste better after midnight either...."

I think you will find that was my second post. My first was pointing out the equally wrong-headed notions of another user on the cause of tunneling.

I'm convinced your evident anger is not so much with me, as with yourself, for getting used so transparently by corporate interests. Yes you are free to throw your money down a rathole, but you can scarce feign surprise when others point and stare. I sense you are waking up to this. Hopefully, your case will provide a warning to others considering embarking on the same folly.

Thanks for the flowers.

What is the pleasure in pointing and staring at others for doing what they want to do with their life? not sure I quite understand. [frypan]

Just had a QB 552. Anyone else tried one of these? A splotchy dark grainy wrapper. Perfect burn. Long white ash. Flavorful maduro. Medium strong but no pepper. Glad I tried my first blendlab.....was worth it to drop a single onto my order. Sorry that I have no experience describing things in a review. Worth a try for you Blendlab testers.

Isn't one 5" long and the other is 5.5" long? Other than that I think they're the same blend?

They look similar....but very dark splotches were very prominent on mine and the internet photos do not show clear enough whether that happens on both. One thing I can say is that unlike the review of the 5552, the 552 was a near perfect burn with no touchups needed. Constant billowing smoke, did not ever go out. After an inch and a half I had to flick the ash to get it off. So if it is the same blend they fixed the construction....or I just got lucky.
