just to be clear, I wasn't promoting d-craps over r-pubes. Just noting that Trump's actions seem duplicitous...backing Dems and then running as a GOP all while keeping the other49 GOP candidates tied up talking about his hair and stuff.

Double Agent working for the Dems I tell ya.

Maybe you're right. I think The Donald's first priority is The Donald. But here's some food for thought for anyone who believes redistribution of wealth is a good idea:

“You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.”

I think Trump would make a good president.

He don't take anyone's chit, and he can negotiate deals.

But more importantly, he might be able to actually get the government running more like a business.

I would hope that if he got in there, and could prove that running the government more economically efficiently, then maybe that would inspire other parts of the government to run more efficiently.

There are too many stupid policies in place that encourage wasteful spending, hopefully a guy like Trump would encourage change in those policies.

One such policy, is if a government division doesn't spend it's entire allocated budget, it's budget will get cut the next time around. This is inherently stupid, because it ensures each and every division will spend all it's allocated money to avoid getting their budgets cut.

Then again, I may be a bit biased, because I'm in Arizona and we have all kinds of border hoppers here.

ah, so you believe he is really running as a republican candidate.

aside from my (sarcastic) assertion that he is really trying to help Dems get elected, I think the smartest biz move he has ever made was to have his father be born first.

I kinda think frank is on to something. Trump is definitely not helping the republican party. He's bashing every republican in his path and distracting from viable candidates.

I hope he's NOT trying to help them....they've put themselves where they are by straddling the fence on many policies and look @ times just like the democrats.
