face to face with real people, not with internet personalities... much that is expressed through verbal communication is lost in writing... for instance I doubt you're anywhere near the ***hole in person that you come off as on this forum...

Joel, I actually agree with you that much is lost or misunderstood using the written word ( although I sometimes think it's the wrong "chosen" word ) and getting "real people " to discuss current events is like pulling teeth.

It seems like a lot of times it is the total opposite online... We're at times almost anxious to offend people of a differing opinion... I've certainly been guilty of that... It's easier to be a @#$% to someone when it seems like they're not a "real person"...
