The ladies decide to pick me up on a gifted turn, in what I think was poorly disguised retaliation for the small package I sent in the PIB V3 thread.
I just got home from watchin' my Illini get their azz kicked by the Tar Heels in Chapel Hill(and I was so excited to see my team live) And low and behold there is a box on my front porch. Now this wasn't the typical flat rate box one sees when expecting a package. No, this was no standard shipment in deed. The box had to be about 2 feet across and about 3 feet tall. I immediately just began shaking. I knew before I even checked the return label and saw the Marion address that I was in serious trouble.
So, I begin by warning the family, but they insisted they wanted to see the carnage, no matter how violent it was. .
(By the way, this took quite a bit, as I had to explain the whole scenario as to why some ladies from Indiana were sending me a big box, presumably containing cigars among other stuff.
At this point, I begin by carefully cutting open the lid, using the EOD training I got from Bur yesterday, i carefully check and ensure no hidden trip wires. Whew, the box is open, and nothing has gone off. . . .Oh wait . .
I begin unwrapping the carefully wrapped packages inside. 1st package comes out and it is 6 donkey droppings. I thought I had seen the last of these, next I pull out 6 pedro's pearls(I love these things). And this is where it went nuclear(I guess I'm not quite fully trained on the EOD thing as I musta hit some hyper trip wire) Package after package of high quality cigars, everything from the Smoking monks I wanted to try, to a BTL, to LFD's and PAM's and really just way to many to list. A total of 90+ cigars. .
And that's when things began to get hairy. . . You see, I made some remarks about smacking around Purdue(can I take those back now?) The ladies evidently weren't convinced that I knew what Purdue fans looked like, so they made sure I would be able to represent if I ever chose.
Purdue gear:

A very sharp Purdue hat
A nice Purdue dry fit XL(don't know how you ladies 1. knew my size, and 2. knew that I love dry fits but it fits perfect, and I will wear this, if for hiking trips if nothing else)
There was also a Purdue #1 fist, that my 12 yr old thought was just awesome. . .
The ladies must have thought that I don't know how to pick out clothes, because there was also a CAO hat and a t-shirt reading "CIGAR:30"
You would think this would have been enough to get the point across right? I mean really, this is already a nuclear bomb that has left my house beyond recognition. But, no, of course there is still more in the box. My boys are starting to get into the act and pulling stuff out, faster than I can say wai... Boom!!!!
More swag comes screaming out as shrapnel. A ronson lighter, matches, lip sunscreen(what are you trying to tell me?), little stinky ash tray, a humidor, black ice humidifier, and a xicar keychain punch, to make sure I am able to fully enjoy all of the cigars they sent me.
Really Jules, this was way too much. Thank you for the overwhelming generosity and reminding me why this is such a great site. The Purdue stuff was great and I enjoyed the razzing(though you could have easily stopped with just 1 or 2 items) I can't believe the amazing cigars and all the wonderful items included. I will never be able to repay this generosity, but trust me I will try when you least expect it. . .
