Truth be told . . . (yeah, that's my new catch phrase), I don't have a whole lot of "wants or needs", per se.
That's why I put the "surprise me" clause on the list.

Here is a somewhat updated list, just to keep the outrage down to a quiet roar.

AF Casa Cuba (If you're so inclined to go above the $8 range)

I have not had the pleasure of experiencing a 170 yet, but from what I've seen and heard, it looks to be a different blend. Will still try them at some point, if they are still available when I'm in a purchase mode.

I realize that some of the cigars on my list may have overstepped the line, (Hey . . . I'm not the first to do so.), but bottom line is, as I said, this is a "non-elitist" pass. ANYTHING you may send, if you are in fact my huckleberry, will be welcomed with open arms.

Got a question for ya.
In the OP of the PIB/Wants-non elitist thread, APBTMarcel attributes the idea to you, so I thought you would be the one to ask.
My question is:
What happens if the last person "up" doesn't get any replies ?
I am ASSUMING that the OP'er would be the one to declare the "pass" is over and send cigars the person "up" , thereby officially completing the cycle, but in THIS case, ABPTMarcel started the thread over two years ago and hasn't had any activity on the boards for over a year.

Any insight ?

Presently, I am up, after sending to mountainman.
rrumba has agreed to "pick me up".
I told him about my question to you and he understands the situation. He is waiting to see if you heard back from ABPTMarcel about completing the cycle and closing the thread.

Seeing as how you haven't gotten a response, it seems that somebody, whether it's me,
(if we end the thread right now), or rrumba ,(if nobody picks him up), or whoever is the last person to "send", who doesn't get picked up . . . SOMEBODY is gonna wind up on the short end.

Like I said . . . it's a sticky situation.

Any thoughts ?

Every time I jump on a PIB, activity on it halts for 2 or 3 weeks.

Keep it going. Eventually someone will pick it up. Not hurting for it to go up.

If a BOTL wanted to close it down, they could simply pick someone and not put up a new list(taking 1 for the team so to speak), but if anyone doesn't post a list right now, we get outrage within 5 minutes. I do find it funny when we have a bunch of guys screaming outrage over no list, but when the list goes up it sits for a week.

So with all that said, I believe Rrumba has picked up John. That means Rrumba has had this open for like 3 days without a list. . .

So let me get this straight, only cuz its really and I mean REALLY in my favor...

I pick you up jes, and if I out no list up, you guys can outrage all you like, I can **** it down taking one for the team so NOBODY has to send anything and we can let it sit for a bit and then start it back up????

I think this is THE best route to take since we are at 5260 posts in this one baby.

So let's do that. No list to follow and I will pick up jespear
