Unlike Obama, the black work force increased their standard of living under Reagan- immensely.

Well, I told you we would likely disagree….

But I am not suggesting we legislate pay scales based on need rather than worth. I am suggesting that fulltime employment (40 hrs) have a wage that is sufficient to live on – without guvmut aid.
You are right about the part-time trick. Companies do that now to weasel out of benefits. And it is another reason that a minimal hourly wage is needed.

And yes, I would agree that small firms should have special roles to foster startups and mom & pop shops.
