Wow! Now there's a name I haven't heard in a l-o-n-g time! I remember when "Caliente!" was super popular and we used to sell it like hotcakes.

Thanks Frank, gonna Spotify him tonight and see what's available.

Lacuna Coil - Comalies.

Wife was trying to do a date night last night, had this album setup on the playlist, was the last (and I think only) concert we went to together. Figured I'd finish the playthrough while in the garage tonight.

Fortunately, I haven't been forced to pick a decade yet.....

Moody Blues - Days of Future Passed. I'd forgotten how much straight up orchestration is in this....not bad - I loved playing classical music...its just a little more disjointed than I recall

I love Willy. Dismissed him for ages without so much as listening to one song. The guy just loves (loved) music and covered a lot of musical ground. Lots of his songs' sound remind me of other artists because he captured the type/style they played, from Ben E. King, to Smokey Robinson, to Springsteen (lots of sax that you'd swear was Clarence), and so many others. Even calypso.

Take a listen to Willy DeVille Trio: Live From Berlin. Yet another type of sound he morphed into later in his career.

The Navy Lieutenant in my office whine about a meeting e-mail without a calendar placeholder.

Dayum has it changed since I walked around with a "wheelbook" in my pocket and scrawling notes on my palm, aka "Palm Pilot"

Going to YouTube or Vimeo and putting headphones on for some work time.
