Thanks again Rick for another awesome contest... even though Rickie didn't show up. I could have had the same result if I had picked Boom Boom, out with back trouble. Oh well, there's always next year.

ICYMI

The golf, on the other hand, was highly entertaining this year but Oostie on 16 yesterday takes the cake. With 2 previous aces on 16 by Lowry and later DLIII, JB Holmes steps up and hits a beautiful shot a few feet from the cup. Oostie, not to be outdone, comes off the side hill and caroms JB's ball nearly putting it in but still had enough momentum that his own ball goes in the cup! That alone was worth the price of admission.

Lots of memorable moments during the tournament. I was the moron who thought a minus 20 score was possible after the first round...and it was an odd feeling knowing how Spieth must've felt yet still happy for myself...golf causes insanity...

I don't golf anymore but never really followed the game too much; however, after entering this contest, even with my wild arse guess (Phil M.) not making the cut, I followed the tournament much closer than what I normally would have done. Definitely had some fun.
