New York Rock & Soul Review: Live at The Beacon 1991

I didn't see this particular show, but saw the local one. Made me realize what Donald Phagan (real spelling gets censored) really was above and beyond his Steely Dan image.
He was the conductor/arranger and held all the parts together so tightly. And yet it was really just a barnstorming "good times show" that belied the preparation it took.

Boz Scaggs, Phoebe Snow, Michael McDonald, Eddie and David from the Rascals, tremendous horn section...as tight as live gets.

Stevie Wonder - At the Close of the Century...nearly four hours of greatness....not very many to skip, either. I know SITKOL was absolutely huge, but the stuff from Innervisions is incredibly better, IMHO
