In fact, if EC quit after only Alison, Watching the Detectives and Red Shoes, I'd still be a big fan. He (and the Attractions) are no one-hit wonder; he's an amazing talent, but I can put those three into just about any mood/rotation I've got going...any time.

^^^ Totally agree ^^^

Al Green - Let's Stay Together and then I'm Still in Love With You

Love the early to mid-'70s albums from The Reverend

Every Picture Tells a Story - somewhat below average quality CD, I'm afraid...not the songs...the engineering, or loss of it....my copy sounds like mp3's recorded onto cassette from an ipod...I need to get a master/remaster

IDK why, but I find the line: "The women I've known I wouldn't let tie my shoe" to be one of my favorites in all of rock...Ronnie Wood's work is fantastic

The Who - "The Real Me"

I have a hard time staying under the speed limit, when I listen to this in the car. Entwistle's bass playing, is from another planet !!! He was one of a kind.

Cream - Fresh Cream

Hadn't listened to the whole album in, hmm, maybe, 35 years?

David Crosby - If Only I Could Remember My Name

Underappreciated album, definitely DC's best.

Not a fan of "New" Country but this guy has me rethinking. Traveler is very good. The way he completely reinvented "Tennessee Whiskey" is amazing. Did some nice work with the "SteelDrivers" too, before going solo.

(You can hear the guitar riff from his song "Parachute", in a current Dodge Ram commercial)

Inspired by Dstieger's earlier post:

Rod Stewart - Gasoline Alley

Some of Ronnie Wood's best playing. Mick Waller was pretty awesome too.

Rummaged through my older brother's vinyl collection and found "The Good Rats" album "Tasty". I haven't listened to this song in over 30 years. Man.....brings back some memories (or lack there of).

My most favorite of his solo albums:

Rod Stewart - Never A Dull Moment

"...he's got a lot more money than sense..." is one my all-time favorite lines.
