Eagle Rare...Whilst home in MI. two weekend ago I found a bottle @ my favorite place ( Oppermans Cork n Ale ) awesome beer / wine /spirits selection!!! The fella behind the counter said as he pointed, we have that in a magnum ? bottle if a fifth is not enough..... Paired it with a Viaje White label from the MM herf ( thanks ladies )

Rare Eagle 17 yo. My youngest son shared a couple drinks from a bottle he stumbled into two years ago.

This is probably the best tasting Kentucky bourbon I have tasted in my 7 month bourbon journey.

JW Black is pleasant, drinkable, and forgetable. Buy a 12 year Speyside, or Highland. For an inexpensive Speyside I would recommend Glen Moray 12.

No, think of Glen Moray as the little brother of Glenmorangie Sherry cask 12. Fairly recently the we're both part of the same company. They are now individual entities. I think they border each other. Glen Moray is a lighter style but very good. I havent bought it in awhile, but it was about $25.00 a bottle. Most Speysides and Highlands are not overly peaty. Islays on the other hand are very peaty. Think Laphroaig or Lagavulin.
